The right person will bring out the best in you. That’s the same to say that choosing the right photographer will do that too. You want to know that your photographer is the right fit, not only in style and budget, but even more so in approach and personality.  This is someone that you’ll spend a good amount of time with and may see you vulnerable.

      So let’s become a little more acquainted. I mainly shoot in natural light and study other forms of lighting. My goal with each shoot is to capture your most memorable moments and create lasting impressions. I want each image to evoke the emotion that brings you back to that breath in time. My approach is to meet you where you are; the authentic you. Whether it’s your first shoot or you’re the seasoned pro, your experience will place you in comfort and a sense of familiarity.

     The typical portrait session begins as we link up at the scheduled time and location, spark up a good conversation, and then fun with the camera in rotation. Ok, but seriously. It’s as simple as that. We will talk and get ready as we make sure clothing, hair, and make up is all good to go while bringing about the needed adjustments.

     As we begin to shoot, don’t feel awkward about the posing or where to place your hands. You’re more of a natural than you think. I usually let you start off posing yourself. You tend to be more comfortable with that than doing things far out of your comfort zone which could be a bit intimidating to start. And when you pose yourself you show off a little more of your own personality. Rest assure if things get weird I’ll chime in to assist, but believe me in no time you will feel much less like an amateur.

     I will handle all the technical stuff. Have fun with it. This is your moment. Be yourself and enjoy every minute of it. I’m gonna vibe with you. Allow each shot to convey the emotion you feel and let your charisma shine through.
